Brief Answer:
Get a chest x-ray done and PFT.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on the 'Ask A Doctor' forum.
I can understand your concern.

By your history and description, we should definitely rule out lung pathology for her chronic persistent cough.

Common causes for this kind of cough are asthma, bronchitis, tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, etc.
So better to get done chest x-ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x-ray is needed to rule out lung infection or bronchiectasis.
PFT is a must for the diagnosis of asthma or bronchitis.

And sorry but there is no attachment about prescription in this query.
Please let me know if she already has undergone a chest x-ray and PFT.

I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
She might be having a psychological cough.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for following up with the details.
I can understand your concern.

I have gone through the reports you have attached.
All of her reports are normal.

So, there seems to be no need for Linezolid again.

In my opinion, she could be having a psychological cough.
Better to consult a psychiatrist in person for a thorough evaluation.

Is she having a stressful life?

Let me know if I can assist you further...

Brief Answer:
Don't take antibiotics without a doctor's prescription.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question,

Better not to take antibiotics without a doctor's prescription. So don't give her any antibiotics.
If Corex T is not available, try searching CorexDX or Rapituss or Zerotuss or Lupituss.
