Sir, I And My Girlfriend Made Out Two Weeks Ago.

Question: Sir,
I and my girlfriend made out two weeks ago. We did not have sex. But she gave me oral sex and a handjob . The thing is that she had a sore throat and she did not disclose it to me before oral sex. She told about the sore throat thing after the she gave me oral sex.
Later that evening, her health condition worsened, her sore throat problem increased and for the next week. She also had fever, headaches, stomach pain and fainting, low bp, her periods were on time, but lasted only two days with very less discharge that too black in colour. she consulted a doctor, she was told haemoglobin % is less, and also she was told she has migraine.
I on the other hand, suffered from fever, cold and severe cough. And most importantly, after that oral sex, I have this itching sensation inside my penis and also during urination. Another problem, there is a weak ejaculation for me after that oral sex act. Little semen is seen thereafter every time during ejaculation and also some itching sensation inside the penis after the ejaculation.

Is there any problem in our case,Sir ? Any infection or something in my case ? any std ? I previously had a sex act (only once) with another girl 5 months back, but used a protection.

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are unlikely to be due to STD/HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
Thanks for posting your query.

Oral sex carries a low risk for both HIV and STD infections.
A sore throat is a very common problem for anyone at any point in time. No doubt, it would get worse after an oral sex due to the aggravation of infection due to organisms other than causing STDs. It is not uncommon for you also getting a sore throat from your sex partner during close intimacy and also during kissing.

So all your problems are not necessarily to be due to STD.
Both of you may consult your physician and get well soon.

Itching following oral sex could possibly due to irritation due to saliva or due to yeast infection (candidiasis).

This also can be treated easily with topical application and oral drugs if necessary. Examination of semen for fungus and other organisms will be useful to diagnose the problem if you have the persistent ejaculatory issue.

Doctor,
As per your suggestion, I consulted a doctor(andrologist) in my locality. I discussed about the itching problem after ejaculation..I also had papules formed along the base-lining of head of penis..

the doctor told the itching may be is a result of formation smegma beneath the skin of penis..To check for any bacterial or yeast infection, he suggested Urine test. The urine test result came out to be normal. But he suggested me candid topical solution to apply on the head part of the penis after folding the foreskin on it.

And for weak ejaculation (limited semen).. he prescribed me RG power sachets (L-Arginine & Proanthocyanidin granules) daily one XXXXXXX before dinner.

these medications are enough to address my issue doctor ?

Brief Answer:
Repeated washing would relieve the itching.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.

Itching or irritation of glans penis, if it is due to smegma, repeated washing with plain water is enough. Avoid using soap underneath the foreskin.

If you have mild yeast infection Candid topical application is enough.

Regarding weak ejaculation not to worry. When your mental tension and anxiety got relieved and when you involve in sex wholeheartedly, then your ejaculation will be a full-fledged one.
