Question: Pain in the ball of food not eased with gel pads. It appears to be a hard spot like an interior callus. Is this a standard , fixable problem?

The pain in the ball of the foot can be due to an inflammation at the head of metatarsals. You need to give it some rest, take regular anti inflammatory medicines.
