Question: My father has been feeling unwell for about 4 weeks now. After attending A&E he was told there was blood in urine but this was not followed up and he was discharged. About 10 days later he attend a doctor and was told he had a kidney infection however antibotics finished on Saturday week and still not well. He attend a out of hours doctor last night and was told that the infection was still here as there was blood in the urine given another antibotic. He is not settling. One day he is good and another day feeling poor. This is was is getting at him. He is not the man he was. He is 85 and in good health. He has various blood tests conducted such as haemoglobin, prostate gland nothing was found only low in folic acid. He has an appointment with urolgoist on 3 January but he is not settling he is on antidepressants which only started on Friday. If he could find out why he is good one day and bad the next this would settle him a bot.
