Brief Answer:
It could be raised intra ocular pressure

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I will suggest that you get examined by atleast an optometrist locally or in emergency department as it may be something like glaucoma that can damage eyes. Otherwise you can check at your pharmacy for eyedrops like latanoprost or timolol. These are meant to lower intra-ocular tension.

For light sensitivity keep your eyes covered with goggles and avoid anti-allergic medicines.

It could any other cause also depending on severity and other associated symptoms. Can take pain killer if you have cervical pain or migraine type of headache. Rest is helpful. But best is to see an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
