Question: My daughters age is 45 days and suddenly she started crying at night and apparently feels to me she is having discomfort but I am not sure what exactly is happening. I also noticed sometimes she sneezes and also there are instances when she coughs.
Any suggestions would be very helpful

Brief Answer:
Could be ear pain or colic pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us .
At this age crying at night can be due to colic pain from stomach which is very common . I usually suggest some relief measures like colicaod drops 0.3 ml three times for a few days for such babies in my clinic .
However it could also be due to throat or ear pain as baby is having cold and cough , this needs confirmation by examining baby .
Wishing your baby good health
Regards
Dr Arun
