Brief Answer:
No need to add another cough syrup.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It can be an allergic cough or viral infection. Generally it will take three to four days for complete recovery.
Both cheston and bronki-LS have almost similar contents and thus there is no need to add additional cough syrups. If there is nasal congestion (which is almost always associated with cough) you can use over the counter available saline nasal drops(SND) which will help with nasal block and sleep will be improved.
You can wait for two more days, and if symptoms persists or in case of fever and respiratory distress, you need to consult a paediatrician and in that cases antibiotics may be started empirically.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

Bronki-ls dosage 0.5 ml whereas cheston cs dosage is 2.5ml. I prefer bronki-ls as it's dosage is less.

Brief Answer:
You can use bronki.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Both cough syrups contain almost similar contents but strength is different. Both act as cough suppressants and can be used interchangeably.
You can use cheston as it is easy to administer.
Thanks
