Brief Answer:
SUGGESTS ACUTE GASTRO ENTERITIS

Detailed Answer:
Hello Bhavik,
Thank you for posting to us
I understand your concern

This suggests acute gastro enteritis/food poisoning.
Most of these cases are caused by viruses, and needs only supportive measures. Please do the following:

1. Continue giving CROCIN 3-4 times daily, as needed

2. The most important thing is prevention of dehydration- by giving ORS solution- 10ml/kg after each stools. Give this in small sips every 5-10 minutes to avoid vomiting. If child refusing ORS, you can give salted rice water instead.

3. Give a probiotic: ENTEROGERMINA vial or DAROLAC XXXXXXX VIAL once daily for 5 days

4. Give Zinc supplementation- can give Z&D drops 1ml once daily for 7-14 days

5. Avoid giving fruits/juices/sugaries. Continue breast feeding and other normal diets.

6. If vomiting, can give ONDANSETRON- Sy EMESET(2mg/5ml) 2.5ml 1 hour before food

With these measures, child should improve in 2-3 days. You need to take him to your pediatrician if there are signs of dehydration(very drowsy/sunken eyes/no tears on crying/very low urine output than usual) or if signs of dysentery(blood stained stools or significant abdominal pain). Some tiredness and anorexia is expected and will settle in 3-4 days

I hope this answer will help
