My 3 Month Old Daughter Is Not Gaining Any Weight.

Question: My 3 month old daughter is not gaining any weight. She is active and fed once in every 2.5 hours. We are planning to start feeding formula . Can you please suggest how to increase the baby's weight naturally? Note: Shes 4.5KG from the last 15 days.

What was her birth weight. Is she taking adequate breast milk? Is the urine output adequate?
Any history of fever with cough lasting for more days?

Birth weight 2.7Kg. She doesn't have any problem with feeding on milk as well.

Hi,
The present weight at low normal range. We have to consider parental height and height of the child also.
For three month old child of breast milk is adequate and progressive weight gain is there only breast feeding will be enough.
You have to chart weekly weight gain and if the gain is not there you can consider supplements like nanpro.
