Brief Answer:
Please refer to the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello

After going through the details provided by you I can understand your concern for your child’s health and I would like to tell you that Many asthmatic patients do feel chest discomfort after Exertional activity superadded with seasonal changes.

So if his cardiac examination was alright (which should include ecg, echocardiogram) then most likely these symptoms are because of this asthmatic problem.

I would suggest you to kindly consult a pulmonologist personally so that your son can be physically examined and appropriate measures can be implicated.

Kind Regards

Aside from the chest pressure when he plays he gets dizzy is that common with asthmatics as well? I have requested an inhaler from doctor to see if that helps it’s just strange there’s no coughing or gasping like you would typically think of someone with asthma . Thank you

Brief Answer:
Hello again

Detailed Answer:
See not every patient is alike and not every individual present with similar kind symptoms. So we have to keep the window of suspicion open so as not to miss any less obvious abnormality.

Just to be on safer side i would like to suggest you to just get an echocardiogram done even if it was done 3 years back and see if you can get it done by a pediatric cardiologist. After that i would like to suggest you to meet a pulmonologist and discuss about getting a PFT done to check for air flow restriction.

Inhaler is a good idea to see if that relieves him for symptoms.

Yes dizziness can happen due to reduced supply of oxygen in body during asthmatic episodes.

I hope this information will guide you properly.

Kind Regards
