Respected ma,am

Hello

I am Dr Praveen K Nath, a XXXXXXX consultant neurosurgeon in India

You have mentioned about your trigeminal neuralgia surgery done in 2004.

Now you are getting recurrence of pain

I don't know what type of surgery was done for you.

There are many options of surgery in trigeminal neuralgia viz.

1. local nerve branch injection

2. excision of nerve branch under local anesthesia

3. intracranial injection into ganglion

4. microvascular decompression of trigeminal nerve under general anesthesia.

but lots of medical management tools are also available for trigeminal neuralgia management

Hope this answers most of your queries

My best wishes for a speedy & complete recovery for you.

Thanks
