Brief Answer:
See detailed answer please.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Our food pipe is lined by a thin layer of cells called mucosa. This mucosa layer can be eroded by hard food giving a feeling of irritation.
Body would take 2-3 days to heal it naturally. All you have to do is that don't eat spicy food which may further irritate the wound.
Drink plenty of water and eat soft food which can pass through esophagus easily.
In case you want a quick recovery add over the counter anti inflammatory like ibuprofen twice daily.
This would help to settle down inflammation and promote fast healing.
Hope i was helpful.
Thanks.
