Question: Just recovering from a bout of Acid Reflux, I'm diabetic, type 2 on 500mg glucophage, once a day. when I eat say about 4 slices of bread in the morning, taking my drug immediately after and I check my sugar level a couple of hours later, I get like between 180-240. By mid afternoon, like 2pm, my reading can go as low as 64. it's kind of confusing. I wasn't getting these kind of readings as late as December 2020. is anything the matter.

Brief Answer:
About hypoglycemia;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
You should try not to take a load of carbohydrate in the morning and stay than more than 4 hours without eating.
To avoid hypoglycemia you should try to eat at least 5 times per day, three main meals and 2 snacks.
Metformine is recommended after dinner, if you have only one dose per day.
There is no need to get worried. Hypoglicemia will be avoided by taking regular meals.
Best wishes,
