Dear XXXXXXX

Welcome back to Ask a Doctor service!

Except for the second reading, which I think is a machine problem, the other values are not concerning. You should know that it is quite common to have higher blood pressure values in anxious patients, during blood pressure monitoring.

When this happens in the doctor's office, it is called White Coat Syndrome.

From the other hand, a single value of increased blood pressure values does not mean that you suffer from arterial hypertension.

Coming to this point, I would recommend you to frequently monitor your blood pressure values for the next couple of days (in sitting position, after 10min of total relax) and take note of such values. If most of the values are above the normal ranges (125/75mmHg), then you will need to monitor it for the next week.

Hope you will find this information helpful!

I would be glad to assist you again whenever you need!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri

Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are not related to the heart

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Based on your description, I don’t think that this pain is related to the heart.

As it changes with your body position, it is very likely to be musculo- skeletal pain.

So, just relax and don’t worry about it!

Hope you will find this information helpful!

Please let me know about everything!

Wishing all the best,

Dr. Iliri
