Brief Answer:
Detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.

I have gone through your query and would like to know a few things.
1. Is this a regular period or a delayed one?
2. Have you been through any illness recently?
3. Are you on any medication?
4. Have you been experiencing sudden weight changes and/or stress recently?

If you are not using any contraceptive, a chemical pregnancy also should be considered. Hormone imbalances, secondary to the situations mentioned above are another factor. Cysts on the ovaries are yet another possibility.

Hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

regards
Shanti.V.
