Brief Answer:
Can persist for 2 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for posting your query.
The change in the bleeding pattern and the longer cycle that you are having is due to the effect of the plan B. This is suggestive of a mild hormonal disturbance caused by the pill. The cycle can last for 2 weeks. There can be a mild brownish spotting also. In case the bleeding is heavier or persistent then you can start with a combined oral pill to stop the bleeding.
I hope this answers your query.

when will i know the cycle will be alsmost done since the bleeding pattern is all over the place?

Brief Answer:
The periods ends when the bleeding stops completely.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing again.
The period will be over only when the bleeding stops completely. There can be a mild spotting for 2-3 days before the bleeding stops completely. The change in pattern of bleeding is due to the hormonal disturbance.
