Question: Hi! I used Monistat 1 today. I was just wondering how long I should wait before having intercourse? It was a very mild case but I want to make sure I'm doing what I'm suppose to.

After treatment with Monistat you will feel symptomatic relief within 3 days. However, it will take 7 days to completely clear up. the infection.

So it is better to avoid intercourse for 7 days after treatment with Monistat. After 7 days, if the symptoms completely resolve you an resume sexual intercourse.
