Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
The white patches you are noticing could be slough. Its absolutely normal. Nothing to worry.
Formation of slough following tonsillectomy is a part of healing process.
This slough will be replaced by epithelial tissue later.
I recommend the following.
1) Avoid refrigerated foods.
2) Maintain good oral and dental hygiene.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.

Hi,
Thanks for the follow up.
I had gone through the image.
The findings:
- The pharyngeal wall is congested and granular.
- Anterior tonsillar pillars congested.
- The whitish patch seen on the right side could be submucous fibrosis. Not related to your tonsillectomy.
I recommend the following.
1) A course of antibiotics.
2) Analgesic like tablet paracetamol, if you have any pain.
3) Salt water gargling. Add a pinch of salt to glass of warm water.
4) Avoid spicy food.
5) Avoid smoking and using tobacco. If you don't have this habit, kindly ignore this suggestion.
Wish you a good health.
Take care.
Nothing to worry.
