Question: I have taken I pill after 52 hours of unprotected sex. After taking the pill within 8 hours vaginal bleeding has started and it continues for 5 days. Will my periods will take place in the same month. Coz it's 1 week delay from the normal cycle. Or is there any chance of pregnancy?

Brief Answer:
Side effect of ipill

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
This is your normal period amd next period may come on same date or can be delayed by 1-2 weeks.
It is a common side effect of ipill and not due to pregnancy.
In future avoid over the counter intake of ipill like this otherwise it becomes difficult to determine if the delay in periods is due to pregnancy or ipill.
Take care.
