Brief Answer:
That time frame is ok for flying, but may not be ok for lifting.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

The general guidelines after a hysterectomy are that you can fly after 3 weeks. Generally laparoscopic vaginal hysterectomies heal more quickly than from total abdominal hysterectomy, so your time frame should be fine. The main problem might be that you should not lift more than 10 pounds for 4 weeks. You can ask the gynecologist who will be doing the surgery for his or her guidelines as they can differ from one to the next and depending on the case.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.
