Is Cherry Extract Effective At Treating Pain In The Forefinger?

default
Posted on Fri, 29 Dec 2023
Question: I have pain in the large knuckle of my right forefinger with specific movement. The movement I think be describes it: If I hold my right arm out straight and palm-side down, then turn the tips of my fingers 45deg to the right that will cause pain at that site. In practice it's most bothersome when: Doing certain strokes while playing the drums, if the dog tugs on the leash when I'm not ready, if I reach for a cup in an upper cupboard, reaching for a cross-walk button. I'm 56, male and overall very good health.

Thank you Doctor Sahoo. Would cherry extract be of any use for the condition? Are there any other creams that might be better than the dicolfenac gel to help topically?
