Question: I take mentropolol ER once a day 50mg for heart rate and blood pressure. Can i use salonpas jet spray for muscle aches. The spray says it has menthol and nsaid

Even though it has Methyl salicylate 10% (NSAID)? I know i was told not to take ibuprofen when takkng a beta blocker and i know thats a nsaid.

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Basically there is lot of difference between oral intake and topical application of NSAID's.
While a large amount of medicine is absorbed in the system when the medicine is taken orally,only a very small amount goes inside the skin when applied topically.
The amount of medicine is so minimal when topically applied,that it hardly has any side effect.
So rest assured,nothing adverse would happen on local application of topical NSAID.
