Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms are related to the drugs you have taken and the interactions between them.

Let me explain as follows:

a- Nisoldopine and Cardizem increase the effects of each other leading to low blood pressure. The same interaction is between Nisoldipine and Metoprolol causing further decrease in blood pressure values.

- Cardizem and Metoprolol increase the effects of each other causing potential bradycardia (low heart rate).

So, all these drug shouldn't be taken concomitantly as they can cause low blood pressure and heart rate (like in your case).

Coming to this point, I would recommend lying down, having some rest for some hours and take plenty of fluids.

If your situation doesn't improve, I recommend going to the ER. You may need to take intravenous fluids.

In the future, I recommend avoid the concomitant intake of these drugs (especially Cardizem and Metoprolol).

You can take only one of them. You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
