Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Personally, I am not keen to any specific diet for losing weight purpose. I always advise my patients to have their meals regularly but without overcoming the calories.

I also encourage to do regular daily physical activities like walking or jogging to help the body assimilate the food consumed and the stored fat.

I also encourage to drink plenty of water, up to 20 glasses per day during intensive losing weight program or optimally 10 to 15 glasses per day.

As I was reviewing the Ornish diet you are asking, I can say this diet has the same principles: eating fresh and healthy foods instead of processed ones, and regular daily walking.

With regards to the XXXXXXX diet, I can say that it consists of some restrictions and it seems a bit complicated for my patients. It has good results but patients find it difficult to follow.

So better follow your common sense, have your meals regularly, have more fresh unprocessed foods, drink plenty of water and have regular physical activity.

Hope it helped.
