Brief Answer:
Nothing related to childhood episode of insect in ear.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

Sometimes it happens that an insect can enter the ear as it happened to you. It can cause pain and discomfort immediately and if the insect is removed the pain goes away and everything comes back to normal. Usually it doesn't leave any long lasting effects regarding to hearing or other issues. So I think there are no consequences related to the childhood episode of insect in ear.
Hope I have answered your question.
