Brief Answer:
Antigen detecting tests for HIV can be tried

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to ASK A DOCTOR through HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Most of the HIV tests are highly specific and the false positive results are extremely rare.
Autoimmune disorders can rarely cause false positive results in HIV.
Antigen detecting Molecular tests (PCR) will not show any false positive results even in the presence of autoimmune disorders.

Thank you for your answer Doctor. I had a second dose of HPV vaccine last July 17, 2023. Will it not affect also my HIV test?

Brief Answer:
HPV vaccine will not interfere with the antibody production against HIV

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
HIV false reactivity following vaccinations had been reported. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC0000/#:~:text=In%20the%20present%20study%2C%20vaccine,with%20HIV%2Dnegative%20test%20results.
At the same time, A HPV vaccination should not affect production of HIV antibodies following infection. HPV and HIV are different viruses. They share no relation. So, it is very much unlikely with the recipients of HPV vaccine.
