I Was Originally Given Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP , 0.1%

Question: I was originally given "Triamcinolone Acetonide cream USP, 0.1% with a tube of nystatin cream. Many tubes of this but only one tube of Nystatin cream. Will this cream work to get rid of occasional mild yeast rashes without the Nystatin cream?

Triamcinolone acetonide is a corticosteroid medication so it is a corticosteroid cream. It doesn't affect yeast infection.
Nystatin ointment can be used for fungal, yeast infection.
Triamcinolone can make it worse.
