Vaccine has to be taken in 4 doses on days 0, 3, 7 and 14. The first dose of the four-dose course should be taken as soon as possible after the exposure.

Pre exposure prophylaxis has to be taken in 3 doses. 0,3 and 28th day. It will give you protection for 3 years.
