I Took One And A Half Milligrams Of Xanax Four

Question: I took one and a half milligrams of Xanax four nights in a row for sleep. The last dose I took was on Tuesday night I%E2%80%99ve been extremely anxious all day. Can that be from coming off the Xanax?

Rebound anxiety is well established side effect of xanax and high dose of xanax is more frequently associated with it. One and half mg dose of xanax is too high for any drug naive individual or for the persons with no or limited exposure to benzodiazepines.


Having said this the rebound anxiety does not last longer and it is rightly possible that the effect will be over in next 24-72 hours.
