Brief Answer:
Need more details...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It may or may not be related to digestion. I need more details to understand the nature and probable cause of pain. Can you answer a few of my question with respect to this pain.

1. Since when do you have this pain?
2. Can you specify the exact location of pain - is it above bellow button or below?
3. Describe pain - is it a dull pain or crampy pain or burning type of pain?
4. Any nausea, vomiting, loose stools?
5. Any problem passing urine?
6. Do you have abdominal fullness, breathing difficulty, fever or any other complaints associated with pain?

At this point if the pain is very severe and affecting regular routine, you should visit a doctor immediately. Else please answer the aforementioned questions.

Brief Answer:
needs evaluation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Apologies for the late reply.

The description / history provided is not consistent with a condition and therefore i am unable to narrow down to a possibility. It could be a muscular ache as you pointed. But other possibilities include a kidney stone / urinary infection or indigestion (dyspepsia). It would be worthwhile to see a doctor who will perform a physical / abdominal examination and then order a few test that include urine examination + ultrasound scan to confirm diagnosis.

Until then drink plenty of fluids. Avoid spicy food.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
