Brief Answer:
Start taking treatment it has already been 3 years.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Firstly i am very sorry that you have been detected as HIV positive.
Secondly i would say that don't panic though HIV is not curable yet if you follow proper medications its very well controllable and you can live a near normal life for next 20 years.Scientists are working on this disease and down the XXXXXXX in next 5 to 10 years a cure or near cure can possibily be found.
To sum up,
By taking anti retroviral therapy you can lead a near normal life.I have seen patients surviving for 20-25 years without symptoms; But they have to follow a healthy life style along with proper anti retroviral therapy. The drugs do not kill or cure the virus. However, when taken in combination they can prevent the growth of the virus. When the virus is slowed down, so is HIV disease. Antiretroviral drugs are referred to as ARV.WHO recommends ART for all people with HIV as soon as possible after diagnosis without any restrictions of CD4 counts.
In most of the countries its provided free of cost by government.I would suggest you to visit your nearest healthcare facility and start treatment as soon as possible.

Take my words H.I.V these days can be controlled very well and is overhyped.Treatment and survival rates are much better then patients with Ebola or swine flu(not that hyped).
Remain positive.
Don't overthink.
Start treatment immediately.
Thanks.

My results weren't positivice. They came back as being non reactive and negative. I was just wondering if having those two tests were accurate enough between those time periods to be assured that I am HIV negative.
