Question: I have post concussion syndrome from getting dizzy after urinating on the toilet and upon getting up everything was spinning AND i SPUN AND HIT MY HEAD ON THE BATHROOM WALL pretty hard. I had a CT done that day but only showed gases . Since then I have had bad headaches and some syncope episodes. It hurts my head when I sneeze. I have been out of work for a week. I am a teacher. I am having memory loss, slow speech with delayed thinking. I am on naproxen and doing the heat and cold therapy which has helped. My question is should another CT be performed to make aure nothing else is damaged? The sneezing really hurts bad.

Brief Answer:
we can wait...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Can you confirm how long ago was the injury?

It is not uncommon to have some memory impairment and slow response for a few weeks following injury to the head. As long as you don't have a bad headache, nause or vomiting, I would not rush into repeating CT scan.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
