Question: I have been trying to gain weight for quite some time but have been unsuccessful in doing so. I am about 5ft 8in and my weight is 56kg only. I consume cheese and paneer on a regular basis but don't seem to be able to find a way to increase my weight. Can you suggest any way I can improve my diet or any foods that may help in increasing my weight?

De stress yourself.
Have commercially available preparations of multivitamin and omega 3 supplements.
Have probiotics.

Keep your goals realistic and have patience to gain weight.These efforts would definitely give you results.
