I Have A Skin Tear On My Palm, About 1.5

Question: I have a skin tear on my palm, about 1.5 cm^2, suffered during a bicycle crash on asphalt over 72 hours ago. I have been covering it with TAO, non-adherent pad, roll gauze and Coban. No signs of infection, no worsening pain. Should I leave it exposed or keep it covered continuously?

Brief Answer:
TAO with sterile gauze continuously

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and photo.
First of all clean the wound and surrounding area once with Hydrogen peroxide as there are black marks - dirt probably.
Continue with TAO and cover the area with sterile gauze.
Since this is on palm. it is better be covered continuously for few days.
Please post fresh photos after a few days to see the changes.
