Question: I have a blood blister right at the palm of my hand. It has grown bigger in the last few days and really dark red,. Should I be concerned? Should I try to drain it? Not really painful except when I have to wear my wrist brace that touches it as it wraps around.

Brief Answer:
Do not drain or puncture.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and the photo.
Your history is suggestive of the wrist brace causing the blister by friction.
This indicates ill-fitment.
Please give additional information for me to assist you better:
Since when are you using wrist brace?
The reasons?
Are you taking any blood thinners?
Any history of direct trauma?

Do not open at the moment as the dead skin encircling the blister works as best dressing avoiding the secondary infection.
Do not use brace if possible. That is why asked for the reason for using wrist brace.

Awaiting for your feedback.

With Regards.
