I Have Fordyce Spots On My Penis But They Sometimes
Question: I have Fordyce Spots on my penis but they sometimes get rather big and kinda painful I’ve been scrubbing them off but no there’s a painful hole that’s red in the middle of the longer spot. What’s going on? Don’t think it’s an std I’ve had all of this (except for the pain) since before I lost my virginity

Perhsps scrubbing is causing it to turn red and painful. I suggest you to avoid doing so. In addition I suggest you to use a topical antibiotic ointment e.g either Neosporin ointment or Mupirocin 2% ointment, twice daily, on the inflamed ones.

It looks like an erosion or ulcer. Could be a traumatic one but I suggest you to get a herpes screen. You can put an otc topical antibiotic e.g Neosporin ointment, twice daily.

Genital herpes usually presents as multiple, genital erosions which burn or pain. This one is a single erosion but nonetheless it is an erosion. So better to get a herpes screen.
