Question: I had a lot to drink yesterday. 10-12 and started ar 4pm finishing about 7 pm. Its now 6:41 am and I take 2 mgs xanax a day. I didnt take it last night. No mixing. Can I take it now. 15 hours after starting 12 hours after finishing

Xanax and alcohol have almost similar biological actions on brain. You can take your regular dose of Xanax (2mg as you mentioned) now. (after 12 hours of last alcohol intake) However, there can be some increased drowsiness. So, please avoid driving, swimming and heavy machinery work.
