Question: I had a laproscopic Nissen Fundo operation done a month ago for Hiatal Hernia. Prior to the surgery, I was doing pull-ups, push-ups and bicep curls regularly. I am wondering if I should avoid doing these exercises. I am assuming the pull-ups are most likely to cause an issue since it puts the most strain on the abdomen. I am wondering if I can do these workouts and how long I should wait to perform them. Thanks.

As per your description,Fundoplication was done Laparoscopically.So,there is no big scar.That is an advantage.
Regarding exercise,there is no specific description about it after surgery.But, initially, you should not lifting heavy weights.
It's better to avoid Pull ups and Push ups completely.The Fundoplication repair is very close to the Diaphragm,at the junction of Chest wall and abdomen.So,there should be no strain at that area Anything which raises intra abdominal pressure should be avoided.It is better to stop these Pullups completely through out your life.Instead,you do other exercises like Breathing exercises which are very helpful , Exercises with Small Weight Dumb bel for Bicepsl can be started after few months.
