He may procure complete blood count, peripheral smear examination sos as per evaluation to rule out skin/parasitic infections. He may prescribe tablet albendazole/ mebendazole after examination.

Till then for itching, you can take tablet loratidine 10 mg once a day. Apply ointment containing calamine lotion and hydrocortisone locally.
