Detailed Answer:
Hii. You are having allergic pharyngitis. This may be due to any allergen or due to any airway infection. You need to visit an ent surgeon and a chest physician and give a throat swab for culture and sensitivity to the laboratory. Start betadine gargle. You can take tablet augmentin to decrease the infection. But you need to modify the antibiotic according to the report. You start antiallergic tablet levocetrizine. Take steam inhalation through nose and mouth. Do a chest x ray. If cough doesn't subside within one week take a throat swab and sent for AFB smear. Give a routine blood test. You can take bromhexone lozenge or syrup to decrease the cough. Is your cough is with souyum or not and what time is it appearing and is it associated with fever or not? Please review if you have any queries.
