Brief Answer:
My suggestion.

Detailed Answer:
Hi sir,
Welcome to ask a doctor service,

I have gone through your query in detail and can certainly understand your concern towards your symptoms.

The symptoms you were described could be due to anxiety and benzodiazepines can be taken.

As you are on Ambien, but which could not taken for long time...so you can prefer any other benzodiazepines like clonazepam which is much more safer.

You can discuss with your doctor regarding prescription based medicine.

Hope this information would help you.
Thank you.
