I Am 72, Male With High Blood Pressure Controlled By
Question: I am 72, male with high blood pressure controlled by meds. I was diagnosed with renal insufficiency 2004, but all tests have remained steady. I have restless leg syndrome. I am in ok condition and relatively active other than being overweight (237 lbs. 5'11"). I take allopurinol 150 mg 2/day, amlodipine 2.5 in am, carvedilol 25 mg 2/day, Losartan-HCT 100-25 in am, a low dose asprin in pm and Pramipexole .5 mg 3 at dinner. My concern is that I find it almost impossible to stay awake and functioning after 7 PM.
