Brief Answer:
A colonoscopy may be needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Recurrence can happen in colorectal malignancies. However most often be due to other causes.
Considering your age the tiny blood spots may be due to haemorrhoids. Other possibility is minor leak or dehiscence at the anastomotic site. Minor polyps can also cause new onset bleeding.
I suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. A colonoscopy may be needed to look for haemorrhoids or recurrence of the tumor.
As of now you can take laxatives like cremaffin . Avoid straining for stools and have diet rich in fibre containing foods.
Wishing you good health.
