Question: How to stop night teeth grinding Bruxism. I have been grinding teeth more than 7 years. I get jaw joints pain during winter and have got tooth sensitivity. My teeth layers are worn out. Please suggest.

Read your query and understand your concern. As far as teeth grinding is concerned it can be often related to stress and anxiety or sleep related disorders. Joints pain and tooth sensitivity are the cause of night grinding. There is nothing to be worried i will suggest you few measures that will help you

- Restrict your mouth opening .
- Take soft diet.
- consult oral surgeon for Night guard appliance and wear accordingly as suggested by your dentist.
- For joint pain apply ointment like Diclofenac gel on joint twice or three times a day.
- For tooth sensitivity you can apply sensitivity toothpaste on teeth for 5 mins on teeth and then brush your teeth.

Can you upload picture of your teeth that will be helpful for me to give you proper diagnosis and treatment plan
