Posted on Mon, 19 Oct 2015
Question: Hi. Today i was walking outside to my car and its pretty windy and rainy. A little small thin stick with about 5 leaves and a small acorn fell of the tree and hit fell on my head. The branch or stick was really small and thin ans mostly leaves. It didnt hurt that much when it hit my head it just shocked me. My mom who is a doctor looked at the stick and branch and told me to stop worrying that it wont give me a concussion. Do you agree? Thank you

Brief Answer:
There is no concussion.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back to HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

I agree with your mother, who is a Doctor, that this little accident didn't cause you any concussion.

This because of the dynamics of the accident and because you didn't experienced any of concussion symptoms.

Seems that you are worried more than necessary about concussions.

Take it easy, little accidents happen to all of us without any conseguences on health.

Take care.
