Question: Hi. Im pregnant my due date is 8/27 I have a 28 day cycle. My last cycle was 11/20. I had sex with a guy on 11/30 he never ejaculated at all he said not even close because he had been drinking and couldn't. I had sex with someone else on 12/1 12/2 and he did ejaculate both times I just wanted to know since the ovulation calanders say I ovulated on either 12/2 12/3 12/4 could the first guy be the father of my child? My Dr said I conceived on 12/4 not sure if hes exactly right but my periods where very consistant.

Brief Answer: Father is second partner Detailed Answer: good day XXXX Thank you for asking. I am Dr S Khan and i would like to help you seek the right father. XXXX provided the history of regular cycles, your doctor is right about ovulation date. But irrespective of it to be be 4th or 3rd or 2nd. the odds for the father are more likely to be the one non drunk who had two episodes of coitus and who did ejaculate inside you than the one who was drunk and did not ejaculated and also a drunk sperm dos not survive for its maximum age which is 72 hours. so i think and i am sure the father is the later partner. Rest nothing is absolute surety until and unless proved by DNA paternity tests. But its the odds we are talking about here and they are very high for the later partner. Hope XXXX it helps. Take Good care of yourself and take care of the pregnancy. Don't forget to close the discussion please Regards Khan

Brief Answer: 48-72 hours Detailed Answer: Thank you for getting back miss Diggle! The sperm life is maximum of 72 hours. And here we are talking about the healthiest sperm not some weird one debilitated by alcohol and smoking. Maximum is 72 with average of 48. usually the sperm loses its ability to fertilise an egg after 48-72 hours. Plus it needs an odyssey for million of sperms to travel for 6-7 hours to reach the beloved egg and fertilise it and that needs a healthy ejaculate with many a million to compete amongst whom only one succeed and that takes effort and that credit goes to the second partner not the fist drunken one. Hope it helps Take care and close the discussion please Regards Khan

Brief Answer: Post ovulation phase from day 14 onwards Detailed Answer: Thank you for asking again XXXX You are right. it take sone sperm to fertilize. Don't be confused. Things happen like this in life. Now the luteal phase is post ovulation phase in menses. When a woman start bleeding it is day one of cycle. From that day till the day of ovulation is called progesatational phase and the day ovulation begins it becomes progestional phase and remains till next bleed. So that post ovulatory progestational phase is called luteal phase. Stop that self diagnosing stuff online and you can self educate by consulting to the obstetrician. There is nothing to worry about. Who so ever is the father, no worries. The only thing that matters is that you are going to be mommy.A one great Mommy.Proud Big mamaa! Hope XXXX This helps. Take care and keep me posted please. And don't forget to close the discussion please. Regards Khan

How much sperm in precum
doctor
Answered by Dr. Shafi Ullah Khan (6 minutes later)
Brief Answer: Mostly seminal fluids, count variable Detailed Answer: good day XXXX As i mentioned the odds for getting impregnated with the precum of a drunken partner over the one with the twice perfect intercourse are very low. Now the question of how much is very variable. Please Don't worry . The number and amount is pre cum fluid is very variable as they are mostly seminal lubrication fluids to keep the genitalia ready for intercourse and reduce the friction. So irrespective of the count worrisome which is very variable you have some other worries to hang up to. taking care of pregnancy and getting a frequent follow ups and scans to keep the baby status up to date. Hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please. Regards Khan
