How Should An Anal Fistula Be Treated?

Question: my uncle is a seafarer and he is still on board. this is his result. what should we do about the situation? thank you

I saw carefully the photo that you sent. Seems like your uncle has an anal fistula and it needs surgery to get fixed.

For now, until he comes off board, he can take care of his diet and avoid constipation, drink a lot of fluids. There are some creams he can use locally but I don't know if he has them on board.

As soon as he can he should see a doctor who is specialized for hemorrhoids and get the surgery/recommended treatment.
