Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for the query,

This may be a small inflamed gland or possibly a small hemorrhoid.

A couple of recommendations to try - warm soak in a bathtub for 15-20 minutes once or twice daily for several days may help to alleviate some of the swelling.

You could also try a topical hemorrhoid gel or cream such as PreparationH Cooling Gel - 3-4 times per day directly on the affected area.

If despite the above options the area still persists or if the swelling worsens or if you develop progressive pain then it would be reasonable to see your doctor for a direct exam.

Thanks again for sending the query,

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
