Brief Answer:
Progressively but rarely beyond three weeks!

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Stomach recovery varies so much from one person to another. From my experience, rarely have I had patients go beyond 3weeks for full recovery after a flu attack. However, it is important to focus more on the progress. As long as you feel better with each passing day, no matter how small that is, it is always a positive and reassuring sign.

Stick to what makes you feel better at this time. If BRAT and chicken soup do the magic, go on with it and progressively try other stuff, to the limit that you can tolerate.

I hope this helps and guides.

I wish you well.

I wish you a speedy and full recovery, no longer than a week from today.
