How Long After Using Daktacort Steroid Cream Should I See Improvement In Lichen Sclerosis Or Lichen Planus On Penis?
Question: lichen sclerosis or lichen planus on penis. now applying a steroid cream daktakort . how long after starting should I see improvement. been using it just three days . ive been advised to use it for 2/weeks what do I do after two weeks?

Generally a moderately potent topical steroid like mometasone furoate 0.1 % cream takes about 2 weeks for a noticeable improvement, in terms of itching and arrest of progression, though the patch (white) may not respond to anything. Since you would be using a mild steroid containing hydrocortisone therefore, I suggest you to use it, twice daily, for at least 3-4 weeks for a noticeable improvement and thereafter gradually taper it by using it on alternate days for another 3-4 weeks.
